WATER FACETS
Colors and shapes flow into one another
Air and light give water shapely facets, make it shimmer in all colors so that it appears three-dimensional, as a drop, a stream, a river, a lake or even a whole sea. The surface of the water reflects light, mirrors it or is made to glitter by light. The light irradiation can open up the view to the bottom or make all conceivable shapes and colors of the water visible in deeper layers. Colors and shapes flow into one another or nestle against sand, stones and boulders, blur with one another, separate again, splash down the stream, form waves and slosh to the shore. And so water always appears to us in motion: rich in shapes, colors and facets.
